Dufter skønt af både citroncreme og moden melon, også finder jeg altså en let note af ristet brødskorpe – men altså ingen fad her, så der er nok tale om, at bærmen går ind og krydrer lidt. I munden har den også en dejlig cremet fylde og en vis struktur, som på sin vis styrer smagen fremad med syren piblende og prikkende i baggrunden. Eftersmagen har lidt bid og olivenbitterhed i sig, og det pifter virkelig det hele op. Det er utroligt hvordan den på eminent vis formår både at udtrykke renhed og vildskab i samme tår. Betagende, simpelthen.

It smells wonderfully of both lemon cream and ripe melon, and I also find a light note of toasted bread crust – but there is no oak here at all, so it is most likely the lees adding a bit of spice. On the palate, it also has a lovely creamy weight and a certain structure that, in a way, drives the flavor forward with the acidity bubbling and tingling in the background. The finish has a bit of bite and olive-like bitterness, which really livens everything up. It’s incredible how it so brilliantly manages to express both purity and wildness in the same sip. Simply captivating.
